Champagne Alfred Tritant

Alfred Tritant came from a family of winemakers, and in 1930 he decided to start producing his own champagnes. This legacy passed to his daughter Dominique, and today it is in the hands of his grandson Jean-Luc Tritant, who together with his wife Mathilde, command the production of Champagne Alfred Tritant. · Founded: 1930 · Classification: Récoltant Manipulant · Production: 25,000 bottles per year · Culture: Sustainable since 2018 (certified by the HVE seal) and in the transition to 100% organic viticulture · Cellar: All their champagnes have malolactic fermentation and are composed mostly of Chardonnay, in addition to having a Blanc de Blancs. In addition, they will launch their first Blanc de Noir, which is already in the final process of elaboration in the cellar. None pass through a barrel. All spend at least 3 years in the basement. · Vineyards: 3 hectares in Bouzy and Ambonnay (100% Grand Cru) – Montagne de Reims · Recommended cuvée: L'INSTANT BLANCE - 100% Chardonnay Although the Bouzy region is famous for Pinot Noir, this award-winning cuvée is a blend of base wines from the years 2012 and 2013. Very elegant, lively and with a long finish. An excellent choice that escapes the most common in the region, with a beautiful balance.
